my mom was a pro photographer. she ended up trading her camera in for a full diaper bag & six rambunctious babies.

when my long fight with respiratory health forced me into retirement as a musician & deterred my musings of being a doctor, I craved another creative outlet. I picked up my mother’s dusty Canon 5D mark II & was ecstatic that I got to be an artist again. I’ve since upgraded that sweet ancient piece of history, and work full-time hangin’ out with lovers (my favorite).

I have the best job in the world.

I graduated in 2024 with my degree in oboe Performance and Neurobiology from Carnegie Mellon University, and again in 2025 with my Mba from Purdue University.

Bringer of Light Photography LLC got its name & legal standing in 2023, but you can ask anyone — i’ve been taking pictures of anyone that smiles at me since I was 12.
